Things we do
This is Ray’s IV pump and TPN. TPN is IV nutrition. He usually gets TPN once a week to supplement his enteral (g-tube) feeds. 
First day of school, waiting for the bus to come (5:50am) 
By Thursday Ray had a room with a view of the helicopter landing pad.  We’ll now that I’m well over a week behind, I need to try and catch up. On Tuesday, 8/24 Ray went into the Fairfax PICU with a GI bleed. He was released on the 28th, but it’s taken me this long to find the time to catch up. So, my catch up pics will be [...] 
This was a pic I told of Ray’s last set of hearing aids. This reminds me I should do a similar shot of his current ones.  OK, do I have your attention? On Friday, May 21st, 2010, Secretary Sebelius approved the recommendation to add SCID newborn screening to the universal core panel. So, where you’ve always heard about the 29 core diseases that HRSA and March of Dimes recommends, there will now be 30 recommended diseases and SCID is number 30! [...] |
