OK, I obviously didn’t take this one. It’s of me cueing for Ray at CMP camp.  Disney Removes Closed Captioning From “Up” Rental Release What’s up with this!?? Disney actually removed the captions and subtitles from the rental version of the movie UP. Disney claims that these are “bonus feaures”. Guess that’s what those hearing aids on my kid are too! Bonus Features!  The Fairfax Lions Club and NVCSA participated in the annual City of Fairfax, 4th of July Parade again this year. They promoted awareness of the Lions Club and Cued Speech. Below are some pictures.
 Time to think about Cue Camp again! This year the date has changed and so has the venue. The NEW dates are August 27 – August 30, 2009. The new location is the 4-H Camp in Front Royal, Virginia. Only a little over an hour from Fairfax, VA, I hope we’ll see people come who’ve [...] 
 Ray and Don and I are in a new Cued Speech video which is presented by the National Cued Speech Association. The video is called Who Uses Cued Speech? We are one of several families interviewed on why we chose Cued Speech as the primary communication modality for our child/children.
Does anyone else [...] CCVA is coming! The information and registration forms are online now at Cue Camp Virginia. There are new forms and new scholarship opportunities, especially if you’re a family with a deaf/HOH preschooler, and you live in the Northern Virginia area.
